Telehealth Consent Information

1. What is Telehealth?

Telehealth (telemedicine) enables medical consultation and treatment via digital communication, particularly video consultation. In suitable cases, it replaces in-person visits.

2. Technical Requirements

  • Stable internet connection
  • Device with camera and microphone
  • Quiet, private environment
  • Up-to-date web browser

3. Limitations of Telehealth

Not all medical situations are suitable for telehealth. The treating physician reserves the right to recommend an in-person visit or referral to local facilities on a case-by-case basis.

Telehealth is particularly not suitable for:

  • Acute psychiatric emergencies
  • Acute suicidality
  • Conditions requiring physical examination

4. Data Protection and Security

We use a KBV-certified video platform with end-to-end encryption. Your data is processed in compliance with GDPR on European servers. For more information, see our Privacy Policy.

5. Your Consent

By booking an online consultation, you consent to the provision of telehealth services. You may revoke your consent at any time.
